The Woodpecker Extended Warranty

The Woodpecker Extended Warranty provides an additional 36-months of protection for The Woodpecker only. The preventative maintenance feature of this warranty assures that The Woodpecker will remain in proper operating condition; minimizing the possibility of expensive repairs at a later time. The Hose Assembly and all other Accessories are covered under separate warranties.

The Woodpecker Extended Warranty covers the following:

• All preventative maintenance. Recommended service intervals for preventative maintenance are as follows:

- 6 months - More than (5) joints per week
- 12 months - Less than (5) joints per week

• All parts and labor.

The Extended Warranty shall remain in force so long as the Buyer returns the Woodpecker for scheduled preventative maintenance. IMT-USA, LLC, will notify the Buyer via US Mail when it is time for preventative maintenance service and it is the Buyer’s obligation to ship the unit to IMT-USA’s Service Center in a timely manner. Transportation and insurance costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.

The Woodpecker Cleaning and Sterilization Techniques

The Woodpecker and accessories are supplied non-sterile.  To clean them prior to their first use, or after surgery, Integrated Medical Technologies USA, LLC recommends a neutral PH or slightly alkaline detergent according to the recommendations of the detergent manufacturer.  All instruments should then be thoroughly rinsed and dried prior to steam sterilization.

Integrated Medical Technologies USA, LLC recommends autoclaving according to standard hospital sterilization procedures and within the guidelines of the autoclave manufacturer to assure a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of at least 10-6.

Validated Sterilization Methods:

Flash Autoclave
-Without Sterilization Tray  ~  Pre Vacuum and hold at 270° F for at least 4 minutes.1,2
-With Sterilization Tray  ~  Pre Vacuum and hold at 270° F for at least 4 minutes.1,2 

Gravity Displacement Autoclave
-With Sterilization Tray  ~  270°  F for 10 minutes. 1,2
